The Masala Bhangra Workout is at the SMMC Wellness Center.
The workout combines high-energy Bhangra (folkdance from Northern India) and Bollywood dance movements in an easy-to-follow fun format. This fitness fusion makes for an exhilarating workout burning over 500 calories per session. Suitable for all ages (over 10) and fitness levels. Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) Screening utilizes doppler ultrasound probe and blood pressure cuffs to screen for narrowing or clogging in the arteries that carry blood to the legs or arms.
Carotid Artery Screening utilizes ultrasound technology to screen for plaque buildup in the neck; a major risk factor for stroke.
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening (AAA) utilizes ultrasound technology to check for an aneurysm in the abdominal aorta. Most people who have a AAA have no symptoms. A ruptured AAA is usually fatal.
