Blood Vessel and Peripheral Vascular Disease
ELVS Procedure: For patients of varicose veins, a laser treatment called Endovascular Laser Venous System has proven to be as effective as surgery but results in less pain, no hospital stay and a much quicker recovery. Performed under a local anesthesia, a thin laser fiber delivers a highly concentrated beam of light that seals the leaky vein.
Artherectomy catheters: Along with covered stents, these catheters restore the flow of blood in vessels which saves the limb from amputation and/or by-pass surgery.
Uterine Artery Embolization: A catheter is manipulated into the uterus to block the flow of blood to shrink uterine fibroids. This improves symptoms while avoiding hysterectomy.
