Cardiac Anesthesiology

St. Mary’s is home to the only dedicated cardiac anesthesiology team in the Tri-State.

These board-certified cardiac anesthesiologists provide services for hundreds of cardiovascular surgeries performed at St. Mary’s each year. These specialists monitor and stabilize a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure and vital signs by making frequent adjustments to medications and intravenous fluids in response to subtle changes in the patient’s condition.
