Skilled Nursing Care

St. Mary's Skilled Nursing Unit is a 19-bed Medicare and JCAHO-certified unit. Patients must meet Medicare criteria and have a physician order for admission. This unit offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, IV therapy, skilled and restorative nursing through the multidisciplinary team concept.

Team members include the patient, physician, nursing staff, pharmacist, pastoral care representative, dietitian as well as physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapists.
