The Critical Care Units at St. Mary's Medical Center include 30 beds on the third floor of the south wing. There are three individual ten-bed units, including the Cardiac Care Unit, Medical Intensive Care and Surgical Intensive Care.
The staff is specially trained to care for critically ill patients experiencing a variety of serious illnesses or conditions, including cardiac, medical, surgical and trauma. The units are equipped with up-to-date monitoring equipment.
St. Mary's newly remodeled ICU waiting area is attractively furnished with several sleep chairs as well as a snack area for families who spend long hours at the Medical Center to be near their loved ones.
The critical care visiting hours are:
6:30 - 7 a.m.
9:30 - 10:00 a.m.
12:30 - 1:00 p.m.
3:30 - 4 p.m.
6:30 -7 p.m.
9:30 - 10 p.m.
