St. Mary’s Emergency Services is a 43-bed unit that offers state-of-the-art, quality care by staff members specially trained in emergency medicine. The department features a designated Level II Trauma Center, Triage, Express Care and private patient care rooms. Two radiology exam rooms are available with immediate access to a CT scanner.
Emergency Services is located on the ground floor of the Regional Heart Institute. A rooftop helipad for aerial transport of patients, an elevator designated for emergency use only and a private drive for ambulance unloading are designed for optimal patient care. The front entrance is designated for patient loading and unloading, and valet parking is available.
