You show syptoms of nocturnal myoclonus, uncontrollable leg or arm jerks during sleep; or restless leg syndrome, uncomfortable feelings in the legs at night.
Make sure to consult your physician. If you do not have a physician, St. Mary's Regional Sleep Center can refer you to a sleep specialist. You may be asked to take a physical exam to determine whether or not you need a sleep study.
A one or two-night sleep study at the Regional Sleep Center may be performed to diagnose your sleep disorder, the results of which will be discussed with you and your referring physician.
