Grief Support Group
Learn how to live with grief and meet other people who are experiencing the same emotions. This free ongoing support group will meet monthly. Participants will explore topics related to grief in an environment that will cultivate new friendships and support from others.

Heart to Heart Support Group
Meetings will take place the second Friday of each month from noon - 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Regional Heart Institute in Room 204. The group is open to anyone with a heart condition and anyone who has had a heart procedure or surgery, including stents.
“We are pleased to be able to offer this support group that offers many benefits for patients with heart conditions,” said Melissa Mielcarek, MSHA, MBA, executive director of St. Mary’s Regional Heart Institute. “It can help improve their quality of life, increase their understanding of heart disease and improve communications with their health care provider and their family.”

Navigating Grief
This is a free four-week session for anyone who has experienced a loss. Attendees will learn how to live with grief and meet other people who are experiencing the same emotions. An RSVP is required. The group will meet at St. Mary's Center for Education in Breakout Room 1.

Understanding Your Emotions Support Group
Join us for the "Understanding Your Emotions From The Inside-Out: An Internal Family Systems Perspective" Support Group.
Dates: Every Monday Starting January 22-March 18, 2024
Time: 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Location: CHH Counseling Center
Chafin Building, 517 Ninth Street, 2nd Floor
Do your emotions seem to have minds of their own? Does it seem like they sometimes react in ways that you don’t understand? If so, you are not the only one! This group will help you to identify and explore your emotions from an Internal Family Systems perspective in order for you to feel more whole and more “in charge” of your own responses.
Each week the group will engage in learning to identify the feelings inside us, explore emotions and what information they for us, correct misperceptions about “bad parts” or “bad feelings”, and have the opportunity engage in group processing. Participants will also be provided the opportunity to process personal “stuck spots” in their lives and relationships guided by Internal Family Systems Therapy.
This group is led by Rebecca Beaver LPC, Internal Family Systems Therapist Level 1, EFT Certified Therapist, AADC, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
