Two Marshall Health Network leaders named to Women We Admire's Top 50 Women Leaders in West Virginia list

Two leaders from Marshall Health Network (MHN) have been named among the Top 50 Women Leaders of West Virginia for 2025 by Women We Admire, a national membership organization comprised of accomplished women executives and leaders across the U.S. and Canada.
Angie Swearingen, chief operating officer of St. Mary’s Medical Center (SMMC), and Lisa Chamberlin Stump, system vice president and chief strategy officer for MHN, were honored for their outstanding leadership.
“This recognition reflects the commitment, compassion and innovation our leaders bring to the communities we serve,” said Scott Raynes, president and CEO of MHN. “We are incredibly proud of Angie and Lisa for this well-deserved honor. Their leadership makes a lasting impact across our organization and beyond.”
Chamberlin
Ms. Swearingen joined SMMC in 2010 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. In 2022, Angie was named St. Mary’s chief operating officer and now leads the operational activities of SMMC. With over 25 years of leadership experience in health care, she has held key health care positions in South Carolina and throughout West Virginia.
Ms. Chamberlin joined Cabell Huntington Hospital in 2012 as the vice president of strategic marketing, planning and business development. She was named chief strategy officer in 2019 and leads the system’s enterprise strategy, corporate marketing and branding and community outreach. Chamberlin’s 30-year health care career has provided her with experiences in Ohio, Florida and West Virginia.
