Marshall Health Network to host annual Survivors Day Celebration June 7

Tuesday, May 26, 2026

Cancer survivors and their families are invited to celebrate strength, healing and community during the Marshall Health Network 2026 Survivors Day Celebration alongside care teams from Edwards Cancer Institute (ECI).

This year’s event, themed “Blooming Beyond Cancer,” will take place Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the Pallottine Room at the St. Mary’s Center for Education (CFE), located at 2853 Fifth Avenue in Huntington. The free event is open to all cancer survivors and their families and will feature guest speakers and cancer survivors Mark Wilson and Tiffany Jobe, along with lunch, a flower bar, crafts and door prizes.

The celebration is designed to honor the journeys of cancer survivors while bringing together patients, families, caregivers and the community for an afternoon of encouragement, reflection and connection.

“Survivors Day is an opportunity for patients, families and care teams to come together and reflect on the strength, resilience and relationships built throughout the cancer journey,” said Leann Ross, director of supportive services at ECI. “Moments like these remind survivors that they are supported not only during treatment, but long after, by a community that continues to celebrate alongside them.”
